And this is SO IMPORTANT. I truly, wholeheartedly believe this is absolutely the most important work we can do. Interpersonal injuries happen when someone isn't fully present with the honest experience we are having in the moment, and then as adults when WE don't learn to BE WITH our own honest experiences, we inadvertently perpetuate these kinds of injuries. We can only be with in others what we can be with in ourselves. When you TRULY care about the felt, lived, true experience of another human being - the way to BE that is to begin to be with all of the injured and protective parts that are alive today in you. When each of us can be a better human, the ripple effect is immense as we model okayness with every other human we come into contact with. This is love the way it's meant to be - the kind that is a very real antidote to the shame and overwhelm that otherwise lives in our nervous systems and runs our lives. Thank you for being here and for doing this work. I see you, and I know this road, and I'm happy that we are travelling together.

A) Understanding People Pleasing Summit Snippets: in May 2025 I interviewed 30+ experts on all topics related to the causes of people pleasing, how it affects not only personal relationships but also our relationship to pleasure, food, money - you name it, and of course how to heal. (I once had an 8 year old girl at a trade fair stop at my booth and tell me, in English, that she was also an "artiste," yes, with French accent - and now that's the only way I can refer to myself when I think of my drawing, and it tickles me each time - I'm forever grateful to her!)
